One World One Vision

KCMC 110th Anniversary and 30th Mission Conference.
The recent Olympic games held in Beijing was themed as 'One World One Dream'.
Our Rev Yeoh is inspired by this theme and set our church 30th mission conference as 'One World One Vision'
The 'world' here means Christian community.
While the 'vision' here means that we must be able to see, to have the vision of mission.
It is a good theme.

Our mission conference is a 3 days program start 28-30 Nov.
Here is the time schedule
28/11/08 Friday: 8.00pm-One World One Vision 1
29/11/08, Saturday:
7.00am-Children Mission Conference

8.00am-One World One Vision 2

30/11/08, Sunday:
9.00pm-Speaker is Prof. 'Zhang Chang Ji', forgot the title le.
7.00pm-Dinner at Klang Parade's Mun Siang Lou to celebrate Church 110th Anniversary.

Our speaker for this year mission conference is Rev 'xiao di you' (don't know his english name).
He's a 'short' but 'loud' speaker. haha

Here is the verse for the preach titled 'one world, one vision'
35Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Matthew 9:35-37)
From the verse, His main points are :
Vision:Seeing - Jesus see people are like 'sheep without sheperd'
Compassion:Feeling -And Jesus 'had compassion on them'
Action:Going -''The harvest is plentiful(means people who never heard of the gospel before) but the workers are few( means that few wants to really go out and preach the gospel to those that never heard it)'' And we must ask 'the Lord of harvest(God) to send out worker into his harvest field'. (After we 'see' and feel, we must pray and prepare ourselves 1st before we 'go')
Mission is not only need ‘rational' thinking but we also need to have the 'feeling' of compassion.
After these, we must equip ourselves well 1st before going out to the 'harvest field'. And always pray to the Lord to send out the most suitable people his field.

I went for the 1st night. And stayed at church till around 3am.
Why? Because of the rain.
I actually stayed back to help to setup the stage for the 2nd day Children Mission Conference, which is located at the car park outside.
But the whole night was raining, we were unable to start out work.
And the rain actually only ended the next morning, that's around 7am, when I was back to the church again.
I went back at 3am and the other 4 guys actually stayed at church for the whole night.
Thank God that the stage was completed in time and the rain stopped completely during the opening ceremony.
The pics show the stage that we waited for the whole night just to set it up.(Notice that the floor is still wet) And those kids wearing red color shirt are my church's Children Choir.
I stayed to help out in the Children Mission Conference till 1.30pm (the event ends at 4pm) and was on my way to Hokkien Association for a Chinese Society Klang inter-school interaction meeting. Kean Peng and Cui Ting went too.
The meeting was...don't know how to say...hope everything will be fine and really bring benefits to us. 20/12 will go there again for further planning.
And I was too tired to attend for the 2nd night mission conference, slept at home.

And Sunday morning, the last day of Mission Conference.
Prof 'Zhang Chang Ji' was good. He concluded everything.
5pm something, we reached Klang Parade to prepare for the Dinner.
I am in the PA team in the church, so need to go there early to setup the PA system.
I think we should call ourselves to be in 'miscellaneous team' rather than 'PA team' cause beside PA, we need to do all the other miscellaneous work, and always like that, in most of the event, cause we will be the earliest people to reach.
(I write this not to complaint, just to speak out only, cause we are actually serving the Lord and there is no complaint)
And here is a pics snapped during the Anniversary dinner. My brother and sister with a little kid.

That's All.
One world One Vision.
May God grant me and every Christian the Vision, Compassion and Action to be one of the workers in His harvest field.

After Pangkor Trip & Pangkor 3rd day.

My blog practically is about my life, or you can called it as my public diary.
I don't have a private/personal diary by the way.
That's why it is very story based, I write about what I did in my daily life.
OK!

So, what I did since I came back from Pangkor?
Came back on wednesday(19/11). Sure sleep.
Thursday Rest day.
Friday still rest, then went to Mano's tuition and then cell group.

Sat morning attended a weeding at church, then stayed back for the final rehearsal of Children Mission Conference, and went to Cheryl's house party with my cousin (Jit Shin) at night which he just came back from singapore.
Had great time singing K with him although both of us knew that we didnt sing well.
We left before the party end and went yam cha at station 1 with Siew Pei, Fui Teng, Ee Lien , Su Ling and Bee San (long time no see) haha~..

Chit chat and talked lame jokes there till 12am and I drove them back.
Yea, I DROVE!
1st time I drive so long distance without my dad or mom beside me and also 1st time sending girls back home.
( You all must be proud that I have given my 1st time to you all edi, haha!)

1 something reached home and talked with my cousin till 5am~!
Always like that, when js come to my house, the whole night we cant sleep, non-stop talking, luckily rarely he come to my house. Haha.
And 3 hours later, we were preparing to church.
And I was sleeping for the whole sermon time at church.Swt..

After church, went back, don't know do what, leisuring around, js was tired to travel and so he stayed in my house for another day.
Monday morning, 8.30am we woke up, 9am the bus will start, considered the traffic jam at Klang Town, so we(I) decided to go back to our dream.
11 something woke up, ate lunch , went to bus station around 1 am, and found out that none of the bus travel from Klang to Sitiawan in the Evening. And again, js cant go back home.
We took the 'free time' to make my IC.
Yea, I live in this country without my Identification Card for quite a period of time edi.
And the whole process took us around 3 hours with their slower-than-a-snails working speed.
After that, js finally got his bus and went back.

Today, that's Tuesday.
We went to catch bugs.
Early in the morning, around 7am, I woke up and equipped myself with all the necessary equipment and accessory needed, and met up at a place with Siew Pei, Ee Lien , Su Ling, Fui Teng and Perry and we took a bus to a secret place where we actually 'hunt' for our insects there.
9Am we left Klang and 5Pm only we managed to came back.
Was terribly tired. The insects 'fly' here 'fly' there and we 'run' here 'run' there to get them.
But we are glad that we got all the 5 orders needed and 25 species.
4 sets of 25 sp insects, which means we 'caught' 100 bugs.
And we also know their names too.
We did All this within 1 day leh.
Wakakakakakakaka!
If you wonder how we managed to do that, I am sorry to say that I cant tell you. Is secret between us~ lalalalala~~
(正在车大炮,哈哈!)

And below are pics continue from my previos post....Pangkor Trip 3rd day

Bones

Mano brought some real human bone during tuition.
I was excited cause I got to touch the real human bone.
I even bite one of them. haha~
Below are the pics that I snapped with some of the bones.
This is Sacrum.
This is some kind of teeth. I dont really know what is it.
This is bone from hand guar..Not sure also..

Verse:

Psalm 23- Most famous Psalm written by King David

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Pangkor Trip '08

It was Fun!
1st and foremost, thanks to both of my cousin, Jit Shin and Jit Yo.
Without them, the trip would never be success.
Also not forgetting to thanks to everyone that attended this trip and brought great fun to me.
Is hard to write all the details of this trip here.
I'll summarize what we did during the trip.

1ST DAY:
9am left klang by bus, around 1.30pm only reached lumut and we had our lunch at kfc.
After lunch, we were in the ship and was on our way to Pangkor Island.
This is one of the picture that we snapped on the boat. I actually snapped photos with everyone of them in the ferry but all those pics are not nice due to the strong wind blowing and thus making our hair to be very messy. This is the pics of all the girls that came to pkor with us.
After we reached Pangkor, we rented 2 vans and checked in to our apartment.
We settled our luggage there and continue our journey to travel around the island by the van.
Looks like Jungle trekking huh? haha, we passed throught all the obstacles just want to see something.

Ta da~! Here is it. The 'Qing Ren Shu'. Maybe can call them as 'love trees' in English.
If u notice in the picture, the roots of the trees are stick together. We will found our truth love after we see the love trees. hah~ Above are the pics that we snapped there.

Next, we went to the mini great wall at Pangkor. We didnt snapped group photo there.

After that, we were at one of the historical place at Pangkor. The wall built by Dutch during their rules in Malaysia.

We also went to the factory where those sotong and local product are made.No pics available.

After that, we went to swim at the beach. This is my 'yao yeng' pose there. haha!

Here is our dinner pics on the 1st day. The girls are having steamboat. haha.

After that, we went to see blue tears. It is an amazing phenomena that I really want to know how does it happen. We actually collected one but forgot to bring it back. I don't have the pics of the blue tears. Above are pics that we snapped while we are at the beach to see blue tears.

Haha! This is how 3 of us sleep. Do we look like corpse? Especially the middle 1(Jit Shin)..haha~

2ND DAY:

We travel around the island by speed boat (1st day by van). We went snorkeling(no pics) and above are the pics of coral and 'hai dan' (duno in english) that I snapped with my cousin, Jit Yo.

2nd day had not much pics. Cause we were on the sea.
We went to another beach to swim.
Played banana boat.
They burried Boon Siang and I under the sand.
And we also jumped sea, from a height of 1 storey.
Siew Pei, Fui Teng and Ee lien are 3 bravo girls that dare to jump with us.*clap hand* Haha..
We played group games and also bought some local product.
We also had a night walk and night talk at a 'pondok'(duno wat it called) near the beach.
After we back to our aparment, we talked ghost story till 4am.

3RD DAY:
Is the day to go back home. We actually snapped a lot of pics for this day but I dun have it.
Mostly at Fui Teng's and Siew Pei's Camera.

My cousin and I camwhore on the ship from Pangkor to Lumut.

That's all.
It was a tiring but enjoying trip. Thank you guys and girls once again! ^^

More pictures available in my Friendster (soon), feel free to view it there.
But mine is a private profile, add me 1st if you want to view them. (promoting my friendster, haha!)

PS: I am still using the same hp number.

The End of Lower 6

Indeed, a lot of thing happened during this half-year period.
Everything meant something to me.

In comparison with my life in my lower form, form 6 life is much more interesting.
For me, primary time was good. I mean enjoying.
I was loud and noisy during my primary, which makes some of my teacher to be 'dun really like' me. In fact, my std 5 teacher commented me in my report card as 'ji zha' (means talk a lot).
All my talent of 'talking' diminished/disappear since I enter form 1.
Yea, form 1, ACS.
I became sort of an anti-social kind of person, for mainly 2 reasons:
1. I can't speak English. Yea, I can't! And my Malay also not that good. It was hard for me to communicate with others.
2. I was afraid that I will mix with wrong friends and be influenced and become bad, which I heard some of the cases during my primary time where someone someone's child became a gangster after entering secondary school.

Enough with history.

What about form 6?
After form 5, I was lost. I don't know where to go.
I don't know what kind of course I want to study, I don't know which kind of pre-U course is better. And I was hoping to get a scholarship to study abroad.
I missed the application of petronas but managed to apply for JPA.
But JPA result indeed make me sad.
And I actually consulted my cousin about form 6.
He encouraged me to take form 6, which he thinks is a better and safer path.
He also told me that, you will feel that you are actually growing in form 6, especially in term of maturity.
So, finally, I decided to take form 6.
And here am I , completed my lower 6.
A lot of unexpected thing happened to me during this special half year period of time.
And I am glad that most of it I recorded somewhere in this blog, which will be my memory later.

Today, only 9/18 of my classmate attended school. I thought that the last day of school everyone will be happy to come and say goodbye to each other.
So today what I did in school was play guitar, play UNO, play chor tai di, play bluff, play sakai, play snap..haha...the last 3 games mentioned I just learned them today, with gigih students.
Yea, I brought my guitar (is actually my uncle's) to school today as Sherlyn offered to teach me guitar *thanks* after school.
And we learned.
And there is 1 hidden talent in our school, He's superb in guitar, damn good.
Guess who? He's actually our ACS security guard.
He perfomed his skills to us and we were shocked, amazed or whatever u call it by his guitar skill. He's geng la.
He also played welcome to hotel california and that's why you go away and sing too.
He told us that he played guitar in pub before and he learned all the skill by himself.
What a talented guy! If he use he talent well, he might be a successful performer.
But don't know why he choose to become a security guard in ACS.
That's people choice. Maybe he just want to live a simple and contented life.

And my advise to everyone, esp to girl, always be careful when u are at outside.
Don't walk alone at night, Don't walk in the dark, always be aware of the people around you.
The 2nd day after I got robbed, my neighbor got robbed too.
Our public security is becoming worse and worse day after day.
Always be careful!

Verse:
Then he said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." (luke 12:15)

Mixed Feeling

Today (actually it was yesterday), my class broke a record.
We are 'proud' to say that our attendance was 1/18. Haha!

We actually went to a class trip to Sunway pyramid.
We had lunch , watched Quantum of Solace, played bowling, wandering around sp and also took some pics.
I am just too lazy to elaborate more.
I wanted to post our pics here but I still get none of it.

After came back to Klang Bus Station , I walked to Klang Train station and took a train to Teluk Gadong Station which is quite near to my house.
Before I can reached my house, I need to walk pass a dark road from the train station to the housing area where my house is located. I use the road quite often.
And while I walking, I felt that someone is following me.
I turned and saw 1 Indian guy following me and after I saw him, he passed through me and blocked my way.
And you all should know what happened next.
I tried to get away from him but another bigger guy came after him later and both of them took all of my money, my handphone(cheap hp also want) and my IC(wat for?).
I was really angry that time but can't do anything.
Thank God that they didnt hurt me.
I called police right after I got back to my house.
After I have my bath and dinner, I went to police station with my mom and my uncle.
Waited there from 8 somethng till 12 midnight only settle everything.
What I can say is Malaysia police sucks! They take their own sweet time while doing their work without taking account of other's feeling.

I was dead tired when I reached home.
I actually forced myself to wake up this morning, scared will screw by teacher.
And Thank God that Pn Hasimah is 'fine' today.

Really sad when I knew that streaming is cancelled.
Ok, I accept no streaming.
But, pls, change the teacher.
The perfect combination of teacher are:
Bio-Pn Hasimah
Chemistry-Mrs Koh
Math 1-Pn. Rabiah
Math 2-Mr Chan
PA: Pn Pang
Muet: Not Chandrika!
I can at least stop my chemistry tuition if I got Mrs Koh and won't be so worry for my PA and Muet with this combination.

Also, I would like to congratulate to my cousin, Jit Yo, who got JPA scolarship to continue his degree in UMS. This is indeed a great news, which I share the same joy as him even though I failed get JPA to study oversea.
And where is our money for the 9A scholarship? No news at all after we submitted our form until now! Ish~

Ok, that's all for tonight.

Verse:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22,23)

Sunday 9 November 2008

Guess who's hand is this?

Guess who's hand is this?
If you guess this correctly, you will get a present(surprise) from me~! hahaha!

Let me post something about today.
Hmm...Rev Yeoh talked about mission.
Oh ya, 27,28,29/11 my church will have our mission conference.
Anyone interested contact me ya! (I guess no one will do this)

And today started my 'The Fifth Vial', I thought I don't need a dictionary but I was wrong.
( I mean I plan skip whatever vocab that's not important)
The whole time I was checking my dictionary while reading the book.
TOoooo many vocab already.

My c-box is back. I miss it very much.
And guess the hand there. ^^

That's all.

Saturday 8 November 2008

Phew~

Stop being Emo!

I hate that feeling, I told others not to think so much but I can't stop myself from thinking stupid thing.
My mind need a break!

Ok , today finally I've done my sharing in cell group. Is about Psalm 8.
Is like 2 days ago suddenly my dad said he can't make it on Friday and asked me to change with him. I am suppose to share on next week.
2 days of preparation. Frankly, I don't really prepare it.
I just read and depend totally on another book that explain about Psalm.

But I do learn something from the sharing.
1 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory
above the heavens.

2 From the lips of children and infants
you have ordained praise
because of your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.

3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,

4 what is man that you are mindful of him,
the son of man that you care for him?

5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings
and crowned him with glory and honor.

6 You made him ruler over the works of your hands;
you put everything under his feet:

7 all flocks and herds,
and the beasts of the field,

8 the birds of the air,
and the fish of the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

9 O LORD, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

I wanted to share some of the thing that I shared just now but I found it hard.
And the English version of the Psalm has a little bit different from the Chinese Translation.
So suan le, enjoy the great Psalm written by King David.

*stopped here and continue today*

And for today, finally I finished reading my very 1st english story book entitled 'fear street-the stepsister' which I borrowed it from Xiau Huey *thanks*
The title sounds great but the story not as great as the title sounds.
No matter how, I am glad that I actually finished reading 1 english story book which I found is a mission impossible for me last time.
And tonight itself, I bought another 1 for myself.
Its titled 'The Fifth Vial' by Micheal Palmer.
Hope it will be nice and I can finish it fast and buy another 1 and go on like that.
Cause I really need to improve my English to get at least a band 5 in my coming MUET exam for easier entrance to U for the course I want.

My emo disease finally stopped today.
And the previous quote of Jay chou's lyrics are for emo sake.

That's all. (7/11-8/11)

It's out of control.

Friday 7 November 2008

Quotes of Jay Chou Lyrics

Tired

I am really tired these day, physically as well as mentally.
My life suddenly become rough.
I am no longer consistent.
I started to procrastinate.
I don't like my life now.
I fall asleep when I read.
I pray less.
I am lazy.
I can't concentrate.

I just feel that I am not being myself.

I miss my life back then.

Holiday is coming, very soon, feel that I'll have tough time during holiday.

Mind torturing.

Undecided.

Maybe I can't live without you.

Emo now.

I need to shout out loud.

I miss my cbox.

Congratulations to Obama

Usually I don't watch TV, especially during the noon time.
But today is a special day, I am too desperate to know what's going on in America.
And when I turned on TV, i knew that Obama had won.
Congratulations to Obama.
This is a historical moment that is witnessed by the whole world.
The 1st American's Black President was born.

Here is the full speech of Barack Obama after he gained his victory:

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

"It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference.

"It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.

"It's the answer that led those who have been told for so long by so many to be cynical, and fearful, and doubtful of what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.

"It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.

"I just received a very gracious call from Senator McCain. He fought long and hard in this campaign, and he's fought even longer and harder for the country he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine, and we are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader. I congratulate him and Governor Palin for all they have achieved, and I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead.

"I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on that train home to Delaware, the Vice President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.

"I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last 16 years, the rock of our family and the love of my life, our nation's next First Lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House. And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure.

"To my campaign manager David Plouffe, my chief strategist David Axelrod, and the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done.

"But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to it belongs to you.

"I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.

"It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give five dollars and ten dollars and twenty dollars to this cause. It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation's apathy; who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep; from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organized, and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people and for the people has not perished from this Earth. This is your victory.

"I know you didn't do this just to win an election and I know you didn't do it for me. You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime, two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century.

"Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us. There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after their children fall asleep and wonder how they'll make the mortgage, or pay their doctor's bills, or save enough for college. There is new energy to harness and new jobs to be created; new schools to build and threats to meet and alliances to repair.

"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you we as a people will get there. "There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president, and we know that government can't solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And above all, I will ask you join in the work of remaking this nation the only way it's been done in America for 221 years block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.

"What began twenty-one months ago in the depths of winter must not end on this autumn night. This victory alone is not the change we seek it is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. It cannot happen without you.

"So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other. Let us remember that if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers in this country, we rise or fall as one nation; as one people.

"Let us resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long. Let us remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House a party founded on the values of self-reliance, individual liberty, and national unity. Those are values we all share, and while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress. As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, 'We are not enemies, but friends though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection.' And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn I may not have won your vote, but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your president too.

"And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of our world our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand. To those who would tear this world down we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security we support you. And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from our the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope.

"For that is the true genius of America that America can change. Our union can be perfected. And what we have already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow.

"This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight is about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing -- Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.

"She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin.

"And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes we can.

"At a time when women's voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes we can.

"When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs and a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can.

"When the bombs fell on our harbor and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can.

"She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that 'We Shall Overcome.' Yes we can.

"A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change. Yes we can.

"America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?

"This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment. This is our time to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism, and doubt, and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people:

"Yes we can. Thank you, God bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America."

All the best to him, All the best to America and All the best to the world.

Hope the world will have a second of peaceful time. (Can I wish for 1 minute?)

What if Obama is a Malaysian?

I came across to this interesting article when I read Sin Chew Daily Yesterday.
The titled is actually 'What if Obama was born in Malaysia?" , but I enhanced it to become 'What if Obama is a Malaysian?'
I lazy to translate or elaborate about it. But you all can roughly know what the writer intend to say.
Obama might be a very successful lawyer in Malaysia but he won't become the Prime Minister of Malaysia, neither a successful politician.
Race and Ability, which one is a more important factor to consider when electing a leader?

Wish All the Best to Obama!
